User Guide

End-user documentation for working inside the Enprivacy 3.0 application. These pages describe what you see in the product itself; for deploying and operating the platform, see the Guides section instead.

Everything in Enprivacy happens inside a workspace — an isolated tenant environment that links teams, imports content sources and database hosts, and pins the default AI models and analysis plans its chats use. You switch between workspaces with the workspace picker in the top bar: click the workspace pill to open it, then choose a workspace under Switch workspace, or All workspaces to see every workspace you can reach.

Alongside your workspaces, the picker lists a System group of platform-wide areas. Which tiles you see depends on your permissions:

  • Admin — identity and authorisation across the platform: users, teams, roles, permissions, the workspace catalogue, and audit logs
  • Estate — the organisation’s data estate: sources, hosts, credentials, categories, and related records
  • Library — shared reference material available across workspaces
  • Working in Workspaces — Finding your workspaces, navigating inside one, and what each section does: Content, Databases, AI, Topology, Search, Workflows, and Manage
  • Chats and the AI Assistant — Starting AI chats over workspace data, and how sensitive spans are detected and redacted before anything reaches the model
  • The Ingestion Flow — How content moves through the pipeline: extraction, detection, analysis, transformation, and where the results surface
  • The Estate — The shared catalogues every workspace draws from: content sources, database hosts, and the credential vault
  • Estate: Detection & Governance — Categories, entities, analysis plans and analyzers, the AI catalogue, organisations, and the review queue
  • Admin Workspace — What the Admin workspace is, who can access it, and a tour of each of its surfaces
  • Common Administration Tasks — Step-by-step instructions for everyday administration: inviting users, granting access, creating teams and roles
  • Glossary — Definitions of the key concepts used across Enprivacy, cross-referenced to the pages that cover them
